Moo moo cows- Silver Spoon

Silver Spoon Review | Reporterdem's Anime BlogIn class today we read Silver Spoon. At first, I was confused about what this was about. On top of that, the topic of farming is different than what you normally see in a manga (the whole manga focusing on it). I really like the series so far, in regards to the first three chapters. A rich prep school boy not knowing what to do in life so he goes to farm school to figure out what to do. It's very refreshing to read something like this to be quite honest. I can't wait to read some more after graduation.

Connecting with the story was kind of difficult. Yes I did grow up in the south, yes I was around cattle and farm animals from time to time, but that's about it in regards to connections (other than struggling to run 20 kilos. That would kill me too). The main character and I do hold the same "squeamish" attributes in regards to germs though. I wouldn't have taken it to the same level of him not wanting to eat fresh eggs. All he had to do is wash the egg and make sure he washes his own hands afterward and he would have been Gucci.

In regards to changes, you could make this into a game. Unfortunately,
it might be too close to Harvest moon and that is already a game. Maybe I would add more surreal comedy (since that's my fave) and a bit more action? I'm not sure for what I read in the first three chapters it seems fine how it is right now
