Bananas

Summer 2018 Anime: A Perfect Day for Bananafish | Tor.com

This week I watched the anime Banana Fish, which was an adaption of the manga Banana Fish by __________, and I really enjoyed the series.  Banana fish is about discovering the meaning of banana fish (  later discovering that banana fish is a horrible drug) with 17-year-old gang boss and ex-escort Ash Lynx. For starters finding out who Ash is as a person, his unfortunate beginning that shaped how he is as a person. Not to mention, Ashe deep down wanting to live a normal or somewhat normal life like Eiji,  a 19-year-old photographer from Japan, is what really attracted me to the anime. Another reason I fell for this series is the relationship between Eiji and Ash. I'm not even going to sugar coat it but uhhhh.....THEY REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, LIKED EACH OTHER AND IT WAS REALLY CUTE. I truly wish they could have been one big happy family at the end of the series. It SEAMED like it was heading in that direction on the last episode, but we can't have nice things, can we.  I don't really have that much to say other than:

  1. Ash and Eiji should have lived happily in Japan
  2. I wish Shorter didn't die
  3. I'm glad that all ( or most) of those corrupt pedophilic men died. When they perished a HUge smile ran across my face. its what they deserve.
  4. I WISH THERE WERE MORE GIRL LEADERS IN THIS SERIES
